Sharp bright photos are expensive to reproduce in book form. Maybe that is part of the explanation for most of the photos in this book, that seem dull in terms of color and clarity. The actual LongHouse Reserve is much more a place of fresh air, sun, texture, calm, private spaces, and a wide spectrum of colors. I am glad to have the book, and at the same time I am glad i experienced the reserve rather than only the book.If you live or visit Long Island, and intend to see LongHouse for yourself, be ready for SLOW traffic on the south eastern finger. Cars out there crawl, many of them, in both directions.Vincent Hayley
